Jim, and his wife Zula, are the founding Directors of Fresh Fire Evangelistic Ministry.  They have  a heart for the lost and hurting; enjoy street ministry and teaching door-to-door evangelism, and believe the world is tired of religion and is hungry for fresh fire and fresh bread.

Jim was raised in a Pastor's home. Saved at the age of 6; ran from God in rebellion for many years, came back to God in 1994, was baptized in the Holy Spirit and surrendered to preach at the age of 50.  Was ordained by World Bible Way Fellowship in 1995 and transferred ordination to Logos International Fellowship in 2004.

Jim completed the Two-year course in Practical Ministries at Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma with honors in May 2001.  Both Jim and Zula operate in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as God directs.

Jim has 10 years teaching and training experience which began as a certified Technical Instructor in the U.S. Air Force and later as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army.  Taught New Testament Survey and ministered as a volunteer counselor at Teen Challenge in Jacksonville, Florida in 2005.

Jim holds an A.A.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the National Institute of Technology in Dallas, Texas.  He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Sociology from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.
